MABLETON, GA – You are invited to join us for Transcend – a Miles Davis Solo Exhibition. Miles, artist at Massive Burn Studios, is pleased to follow up last year’s successful solo museum exhibition at Marietta Cobb Museum of Art with Transcend, an art showcase of over thirty original paintings by the ultra contemporary artist, completed since 2020.

Presented by the Office of Cobb County Parks and Rec and the Mable House Arts Center, this solo exhibition is a culmination of years of effort to further develop his skills and elevate his modern surrealistic paintings to a new level.

Having taken time during the COVID-19 pandemic to focus wholeheartedly on his artwork, Miles emerges in this exhibition with a collection of work that digs deep into the psyche highlighting the inner turmoil, distress, euphoria, and solitude of the human experience. In all, the original paintings on display during this exhibition aim to further connect humanity through interpretation, discussion, healing and collective spirit.

Transcend invites you to unravel the visionary artworks of Miles Davis, blurring the lines between dream and reality, with thought-provoking themes and engaging compositions. Allow your mind to wonder as you wander through this captivating exhibition. Please join us on Thursday, October 12 for the Opening Reception – details below.
