11 Apr Miles Davis Receives Second Award for Best of Cobb
For the second year in a row, we are elated to announce that Miles Davis received the 3rd place award in the Visual Artist category of the 2023 Best of Cobb awards presented by Cobb Life Magazine and the Marietta Daily Journal.
Since moving to Mableton in 2013, Miles has been very engaged with the arts in Cobb County. In 2022, Miles held his first solo museum exhibition Vibrant Shadows at Marietta Cobb Museum of Art. He also serves as Director at Large for the South Cobb Arts Alliance, and is consulting with the Marietta Arts Council on 2023 M2R Trail Fest. In addition to volunteering, Miles also teaches art lessons and art business courses to all ages through Mable House Arts Center, South Cobb Arts Alliance and MCMA.
A selection of Miles’s paintings can be found on display at Lucky Draw Tattoo and Art Gallery on Marietta Square and through the permanent collection at Marietta Cobb Museum of Art.
We are proud to celebrate this honor with our fellow artists and art enthusiasts. The Cobb County arts scene is a vibrant community of talented professionals, and we are proud to stand and show beside them. Thank you to all who voted for Miles for this award.
