South Cobb Arts Alliance has invited Miles Davis to display two original paintings during the 2024 national juried art exhibition Art at the Avenue in West Cobb. Two paintings will debut during this exhibition: Another One, a blacklight painting and Virtual Reality, two paintings of very different subjects (one a figurative and the other a mountainscape) yet both featuring the amoeba nuclei symbols that have been appearing in many of Miles’s recent works. Join us for the opening reception, Saturday, July 20 from 5pm to 7pm with music by the Atlanta Blues Society. The national juried art exhibition includes a variety of artwork from local, regional and national artists. SCAA celebrates all types of art inspiration, and Art at the Avenue supports the South Cobb Arts Alliance’s mission to make our communities stronger by bringing art to public settings.
