Galactus

As I was a bit of a comic nerd growing up, as I painted this piece, my mend kept recalling the name of the Marvel character Galactus, the god-like creature that eats planets to sustain itself. I began wondering if it was alone in the universe and somber in its solitude. The black roses metaphorically represent death and the constant reality of Galactus.
