Anointed

This expressive painting plays with the idea of the disciples being anointed with the tongues of the holy spirit as in the Bible. Essentially, the story is certain anointed ones are being tasked with anointing others to spread the fire of the spirit. In the ancient alien astronaut tradition, I wanted to give them some abstract alienesque qualities.
